The Powersonic line of benchtop ultrasonic cleaners is engineered for high‑intensity cleaning performance, using ceramically enhanced transducers and a carefully controlled ultrasonic field. These specialized industrial transducers deliver higher power density and improved durability compared with conventional wafer‑disc designs, and that same technology has been built into Crest’s compact tabletop systems. To maintain even cleaning results across the entire tank, the units sweep the ultrasonic frequency by about 3 kHz, which produces overlapping ultrasonic waves throughout the bath. This dynamic sound field minimizes hot spots, where ultrasonic activity can be overly concentrated, and avoids dead zones caused by fixed or “standing” waves typical of standard ultrasonic power supplies.
